Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry exists for reaching, teaching and nurturing the women of our church and community so that each woman will come to faith, Christian maturity, and service through interaction with God, His Word and one another.

The vision of our Women's Ministry is to:

             * Maximize Ministry

Our Women's Ministry is led by Co-Directors Sharyn Hulter and Starrlyt Rodgers.  It's their desire to see the Lord's intentions for your life be accomplished during your journey with our Women's Ministry.

MOPS: Meeting the Needs of Mothers of Preschoolers in Topeka

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and our MOPS group in the heart of Topeka exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children.

This 2009-2010 school year our theme is Together on Planet Mom. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30am till 11:30 am.

Registration and a fee of $75.00 needs to be paid to First Southern Baptist Church.
