Christ First Student Ministries is an active youth ministry that includes weekly activities such as: Bible study, worship, fellowship and missions. Most of the youth activities are held in The Peak, the building just south of the main church building.
Sunday mornings begin with a free breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in the Peak and large group gathering at 9:45 AM with worship, games, and awesome bible study. Our bible studies are all focused on who Jesus is and how we can become better equipped to do the ministry work that He has prepared for us to do! Students are encouraged to invite their friends as visitors are always welcome!
Other scheduled activities and special events include an annual mission trips, 220 Youth Camp, See You at The Pole, Fall Retreat, Girl's/Guy's Retreat, World's of Fun & Kansas City Royals trips, DiscipleNow, and many other special activities and events throughout the year.
242 Small Groups age and gender divided small groups that meet in various homes and other places away from the church. These groups are based on Acts 2:42 which says that people came together on a regular basis to fellowship, pray, eat, and share their hearts with one another. Our purpose is to provide a safe place to be "real" with one another and become accountable to one another. They are led by two awesome adult leaders that have a real heart for student to grow in their relationship with Christ and one another. Come on Sunday morning to meet your leader and find out where your group meets!
Student Impact is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Peak and is an opportunity for students to invite and bring their non-churched friends with them. Student Impact is composed of hang-out time, games, worship, teaching, small groups discussions and accountability. We also use this time to continue in our mission work by going to the Hope Center of the Topeka Rescue Mission every other Wednesday night to work with children living there.
